Meet the Members of Junction68

Junction68 is comprised of four divergent talents that weave magical harmonies of Jazz, Big Band, and Swing…with an occasional touch of Blues…entertaining with music and songs audiences have known & loved for decades.

Sandy Rudo

Alto, co-founder and musical director of the group.  Sandy instructs vocal music and directs two singing ensembles at Hartnell College where she has been a faculty member in the music department for twenty years.  In addition to her interest in vocal and choral music, Sandy has studied classical and jazz piano extensively.

Thompson Lange

Tenor. Thompson performs regularly with the Monterey Peninsula Choral Society and can be heard performing as a soloist at a number of Monterey Peninsula churches.  When not performing with Junction68, Thompson is active in a variety of community organizations and recently completed his goal of running marathons on each of the world’s seven continents.

Sarah Riddick

Soprano.  Sarah has been singing with various ensembles since she was fourteen.  She has performed with the UC Santa Cruz Concert Choir and Women’s Chorale, Cabrillo College’s Westside Community Chorus and Symphonic Chorus, as well as other groups including the Mount Madonna Choir.  Recently Sarah had the privilege of performing a new masterwork by Imant Raminsh at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Paul Sallabedra

Bass and co-founder.  Paul has performed and recorded with numerous vocal ensembles over the past twenty years, including the Mount Madonna Choir, Cabrillo Renaissance Singers, A Wing and a Prayer, numerous Hartnell College vocal groups and the Monterey Peninsula Choral Society.
